Data Collection on our Website

Server Log Files: Our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, and time of server request. This data is not merged with other sources.

Contact forms & Registration: If you send us inquiries via the contact form or register for courses, your details including contact information will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your requests and in case of follow-up questions.

Biometric Login (Passkeys / WebAuthn): For a highly secure and convenient login experience, we support biometric authentication (e.g., Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello) via the WebAuthn standard. Important Privacy Note: Your biometric data (face or fingerprint scans) is processed exclusively locally on your device by your operating system. We do not collect, read, transmit, or store any biometric data on our servers. The authentication is performed via cryptographic key pairs, making it 100% compliant with the GDPR.

Hosting & Third-Party Services

To provide our digital infrastructure reliably, we rely on the following trusted third-party providers. We have concluded corresponding Data Processing Agreements (DPA) where legally required.

Vercel & Vercel Blob: Our application is hosted on Vercel Inc. They process server logs securely and provide the content delivery network (CDN) and file storage.
Neon Postgres: User data and platform content are securely stored on Neon Serverless Postgres, our data sub-processor.
Transactional Email: We use secure SMTP infrastructures (such as Nodemailer) to transmit system emails (e.g., registration confirmations) securely.

Analytics

Vercel Web Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to analyze website traffic. This service provides aggregated, anonymized metrics (like page views) without using tracking cookies and without identifying individual visitors, strictly adhering to privacy-first principles.
